Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy includes a new bullet proof car Mercedes-Maybach S750, which is equipped with state-of-the-art features. It has been upgraded from Range Rover Vogue and Toyota Land Cruiser, the report said.

During his visit to India to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Modi was recently seen at the Hyderabad House for the first time in a new Mercedes-Benz S750. The new car was seen again in the Prime Minister’s convoy.

The new Mercedes-Maybach S650 Guard is the latest facelifted model with VR-10 level protection. The company claims that this car has a higher level of safety than other cars. Mercedes-Maybach specializes in its security system.

It gets a polycarbonate coating inside the window, while the cabin gets separate air supply in case of gas attack.

The Mercedes-Maybach S650 Guard is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 516bhp and about 900Nm of peak torque. Its maximum speed limit is 160 kilometers per hour.

Requests for new vehicles are usually made by the Special Protection Group, or SPG, which is responsible for the safety of the PM. The SPG determines whether the upgrade of the President’s vehicle is necessary considering the security requirements. Under such circumstances, the vehicles of Prime Minister Modi’s convoy have now been upgraded.
