Coronavirus Updates: The number of corona infected patients in the country has increased to 3,36,78,786

Coronavirus Updates: There has been a slight decline in the number of new corona infected patients in the country as compared to yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 18132 new cases of corona virus have been reported and 193 people have died.

At the same time, on October 10, 18,166 new cases were reported and 214 people died.

According to the Health Ministry, the total number of corona infected patients in the country has increased to 3,36,78,786. So far, 4,50,782 patients have died due to total corona virus infection. The number of active cases is 2,27,347. In the last 24 hours, 21,563 patients have been cured. Whereas till now a total of 3,32,93,478 patients have recovered and gone to their homes. The recovery rate has reached 98.00.

To curb the corona infection, the government is emphasizing on vaccination. The vaccination figure has crossed 95 crores. So far the figure of vaccination has reached 95,19,84,373.

The Health Ministry has issued a statement saying that more than 96.75 crore doses of the vaccine have been provided to the states and union territories. States/UTs currently have more than 8.43 crore doses of the vaccine.

Kerala’s condition

In the last 24 hours, 10,691 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Kerala. During this 12,655 people were cured and 85 people have died. The total number of active cases in the state is 1,11,083. So far, a total of 46,56,866 corona infected patients have been cured and 26,258 patients have died.
