Due to technical glitches, people are facing difficulty in filing ITR and doing other tax related work. Regarding this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had also advised the IT company Infosys, which developed this website.

Meeting on June 22 regarding new income tax portal
In view of the frequent complaints of taxpayers, the officials of the Finance Ministry are going to hold a meeting with Infosys this month itself. Other stakeholders like ICAI, Auditors Consultants and Taxpayers will also participate in this important meeting to be held on June 22. A spokesperson of the Central Board of Direct Taxes said that the officials of the Ministry of Finance will hold a meeting with the Infosys team on June 22 from 11 am to 1 pm to remove the flaw in the income tax portal.

List of problems requested from all
The Finance Ministry has called for problems in writing from all the stakeholders who participated in this meeting. In the meeting, the officials of Infosys will clarify on what is the reason behind the technical problems. On this basis, a way will be found to overcome these problems. Let us tell you that from the very first day of the launch of the portal, the process of problems started. In view of this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had asked IT company Infosys and its chairman Nandan Nilekani to remove the technical flaws coming in the new e-filing website of the Income Tax Department.
Technical issues since launch
The new income tax portal was launched to make it easier to file income tax and get refund, but since its launch, taxpayers are facing technical difficulties. The new portal www.incometax.gov.in was launched on 7 June. Since then only complaints are being heard till now. Many taxpayers complain that they are not able to access it, even if someone logs in, there is a problem in responding to the transaction or tax notice.
