By June 30, the PAN card has to be linked with Aadhar. If you do not do this then you will have to pay a fine of 1000 rupees. This has happened because of Section 234H added in the Income Tax Act 1961, which was passed by the government under the Finance Bill 2021 passed in the Lok Sabha on 23 March. PAN will be deactivated
If a person does not link his PAN with Aadhaar by the last date, then his PAN will become inactive. That is, after June 30, PAN will not be used in financial transactions. How to do PAN Card Aadhaar Card Link
If you have linked your PAN card with Aadhaar, then you can check your status by clicking on this link. First of all go to the official website of Income Tax Department www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in i.e. now the new website https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal. Click on the option of Link Aadhaar at the bottom.
Click on the hyper link Click here to view your status. Here you have to fill your Aadhar and PAN card details.
– If your PAN card is linked to Aadhar card then you will see this confirmation that your PAN is linked to Aadhaar Number.
If you have not linked Aadhar card and PAN card yet, then you have to click on this link https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home. After that click on Link Aadhaar.
After this you have to fill your details. And your PAN card will be linked with Aadhar card.

To use the SMS service, Aadhaar can be linked with PAN card by sending a message to 567678 or 56161.
