Punjab Election 2022: AAP releases 5th list of 15 candidates for Punjab elections, names of 88 out of 117 candidates announced so far

The Aam Aadmi Party is overjoyed to have won the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation election.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday announced the names of 15 more candidates for next year’s Punjab Assembly elections. This is the fifth list published by the main opposition party in the state. As a result, the number of declared candidates of Aam Aadmi Party increased to 7. Punjab has 117 assembly seats for which elections are scheduled for next year.

Former Mohali mayor Kulwant Singh has received an award for joining the AAP. According to the latest list of AAP candidates, Kulwant Singh will contest from Mohali. Kulwant Singh was a real estate businessman and former mayor of Mohali. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Monday.

The party has fielded Dr Charanjit Singh against Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. He will contest from Chamkaur Sahib seat to CM Channi. The team said Gurdeep Singh Randhawa will contest from Dera Baba Nanak.

Also Baldev Singh from Raja Sansi, Manju Rana from Kapurthala, Ratan Singh from Shahkot, Shital Angural from Jalandhar West, Jeet Lal Bhatti from Adampur and Kuljit Singh from Banga will try their luck from AAP.

Punjab Election 2022: Just before the Punjab election, former cricketer Dinesh Mangia and two current Congress MLAs have joined the BJP.

Also Rupinder Singh from Basi Pathana, Rajinder Kaur from Ludhiana South, Ranbir Singh from Ferozepur City, Jagroop Singh from Bathinda Urban, Yashwant Singh from Amargarh and Gurdev Singh from Nava.
