Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that his government will send more military aid to Ukraine in the form of vital defense equipment in the war against Russia.

Johnson told Zelensky about the new sanctions imposed by Britain against members of the Russian military. He confirmed that the United Kingdom would reopen its embassy in Kiev next week in a show of support and solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
Zelensky expressed gratitude
A spokesman for Britain’s prime minister said the prime minister had confirmed that Britain was providing more defense military assistance, including defense vehicles, drones and anti-tank weapons. Britain opens embassy in Kiev

He also briefed the president on Britain’s new sanctions against members of the Russian military. Britain has reaffirmed its support and solidarity with the people of Ukraine by reopening its embassy in Kiev next week.
Russia is trying to control the south
Meanwhile, a senior Russian military official said Russia was seeking full control of the Donbass region of Ukraine, as well as the southern part. Russia’s state media quoted Maj. Gen. Rustam Minkayev as saying that if this goal is achieved, the occupied Crimea will be annexed by land in 2014.
He added that it would give Russia access to Transnistria, a region inhabited by Russian-backed separatists in Moldova. According to the BBC, Transnistria is a small area bordering the western part of Ukraine.
