Weather Update: Heat wave conditions may continue in central and western India
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rains in some northeastern states in the next few days. Meanwhile, heatwaves may continue in central and western India.

Heavy rain warning:
03 April Heavy rains likely in sub-Himalayan West Bengal-Sikkim. Rainfall is expected in Assam-Meghalaya from March 31, 02 and 03 April and in Arunachal Pradesh from March 31 to April 03.
Coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep may receive light to moderate rainfall on March 30 and 31; In the next 5 days, Kerala-Mahe, Tamil Nadu-Pondicherry-Karaikal and South Inner Karnataka are likely to receive rains.
Delhi Weather Forecast: Summer in Delhi! Temperatures have reached 40 degrees Celsius, with severe heat waves forecast in these states within 5 days.
There is also a possibility of isolated thunderstorms / thunderstorms on March 30 in Lakshadweep; March 30 and 31 Tamil Nadu-Pondicherry-Karaikal and next 5 days Kerala and Mahe.
Heat flow warning:
March 30 and March 31 in western Rajasthan and March 31 in many places and parts of western Uttar Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan and western Madhya Pradesh are likely to be very hot on March 30 and 31.
On 30th and 31st March, severe heat wave conditions prevailed in isolated parts of South Haryana and Delhi.
These areas are likely to decline locally and in intensity by April 01-03, with some areas in the region experiencing heat waves during the same period.
