The bail plea of Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who is trapped in the drugs case, will be heard in the sessions court today. Aryan Khan is currently lodged in Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai. His bail application has been granted on the ground that no drugs have been recovered from him. Aryan’s lawyer argued on his behalf that drugs were found in the possession of other accused, on the basis of which he cannot be kept in jail.
Court rejected the bail plea
On 8 October, the Lower Court of Mumbai rejected the bail pleas of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha. There was a long debate between the lawyers in the court after which the petition was dismissed. Aryan was kept in the Special Quarantine Cell at Arthur Road Jail. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the court had said that they do not have the power to hear the bail petition under those sections. The lawyers of the accused should go to the sessions court.
The lawyers of the three accused, including Aryan Khan, could not go to the sessions court as it was evening for the order to arrive. Then the court was closed because of Saturday and Sunday.
Shahrukh’s driver questioned
On Saturday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had questioned Shahrukh Khan’s driver Rajesh Mishra for a long time. According to the media report, it has been revealed in the investigation that Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Prateek Gaba together came out of Aryan’s bungalow Mannat by car. Everyone had reached the cruise party together. The statement of the driver has been recorded by the NCB for further information in the investigation.

On the late night of October 2, NCB caught Aryan and eight others from a cruise ship in Mumbai. During the raid, NCB recovered several banned drugs. After which a case was registered against the accused under the NDPS Act.
