Jaspreet Bumrah has serious ankle injury and is likely to miss the Test series.

New Delhi: On the third day of the Centurion Test between India and South Africa, bad news came from the Indian camp. Fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah has been injured.

Accident with Bumrah

During South African batting, when Jaspreet Bumrah handed the 5th ball of the 11th over to Rossi van der Dussen, Bumrah’s ankle twisted.

Jaspreet Bumrah groaned in pain and fell to the ground. Then Indian team physio Nitin Patel came and took Bumrah off the field with his ankle bandaged.

Now, after the scan, it will be known how deep Jaspreet Bumrah’s injury is. Team India hopes Bumrah will recover soon, but the picture shows that the pain is deep.
