Jaspreet Bumrah got injured while bowling on the third day of the first Test. The 5th ball of the 11th over was passed to Rossi van der Dussen and his ankle twisted.

Bumrah groans in pain
Jaspreet Bumrah fell to the ground and groaned in pain. Team India physio Nitin Patel took him to the dugout where he was given first aid. Mohammad Siraj bowled the last ball of the boomerang over.

Fear of being out of the series
Jaspreet Bumrah’s condition suggests he may be out of the entire series, not just the current Test, although he will be scanned and a final decision will be made after a medical report.
