Batting first, Delhi scored 172 for 5 in 20 overs. Chasing the target, CAK scored 173 runs for six wickets in 19.4 overs. Tom Curran took 3 wickets for Delhi while Anrich Nortij and Avesh Khan took one wicket each. Rituraj Gaikwad scored 70 runs in 50 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes.

Uthappa scored 63 runs in 44 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes. Uthappa and Gaikwad shared 110 runs in 77 balls for the third wicket. After this, CSK’s two wickets fell continuously.
