A Mumbai court has ruled in the case of gang-rape of a mentally ill girl that murder destroys the human body but rape destroys the human soul. A 28-year-old man, along with one of his accomplices, gang-raped a mentally ill 15-year-old girl, where a court found the accused guilty in 2012.
During the ongoing hearing of the case, one accused died, the other accused was sentenced by a special POCSO court to 10 years. According to sources, the victim testified before the court against the accused. At the same time, Judge HC Shinde said that the statements of the victims could be accepted. The victim told the court that the accused had threatened her that if she told anyone about this, the consequences would be very bad.

At the same time, the court dismissed the defendant’s argument that it was a case of misrepresentation. The court said the victim identified the accused as the attacker. According to the information, the mother of the victim informed the police about the rape. He told the police that the accused took his daughter away with them on the pretext of paying 10 rupees and gang-raped her.
