She was breathing through her husband’s mouth. The woman’s husband returned empty-handed from 4 hospitals due to lack of beds. The husband was having trouble breathing. The wife gave him CPR, but the man’s life was not saved.

Many commented on this viral image and expressed sympathy for the woman, but to this day no one has tried to find out who the woman was and what happened to her after her husband’s death.
According to a report published in the Times of India, the victim’s name is Renu Singhal. He lives in a rented house in Agra’s Awas Bikash Colony for Rs 2,500. He has a 16-year-old daughter who is in 10th grade. The woman’s husband used to sell pitha. He was the only earner in the house. The woman said she had no money to make a living. He also could not get a job due to lockdown. His family is in financial crisis.

What happened that day?
Renu Singhal said that her husband’s name is Robi. He was 47 years old. On April 20, he had a mild fever. After that, his condition deteriorated until 23 April. Her breathing started to be a problem. The woman then drove an auto and took her husband to a nearby hospital but there was no empty bed. There the woman was told to go to Sarojini Naidu Medical College.
She added that even in medical college, the woman did not get a bed for her husband. She then went to two more hospitals but her husband was not admitted anywhere. After her husband started breathing, the woman tried to breathe through her mouth but her life could not be saved.
