Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh twice this month. According to official sources, the Prime Minister will visit Kushinagar on October 20 to inaugurate the international airport and is also likely to visit his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on October 25.
Promotion of tourism of Buddhist circuit
According to sources, the program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) is being prepared and the program of the first visit is almost ready. According to officials, the prime minister will inaugurate the Kushinagar International Airport, which will boost tourism, especially in the Buddhist circuit, as Kushinagar is the place where Lord Buddha breathed his last. The first flight here is likely to come from Sri Lanka, which has a large Buddhist population.

A senior government official said the first flight at Kushinagar International Airport is likely to carry the Sri Lankan President, other representatives and Buddhist pilgrims. Several Buddhist temples and guest houses have been built around the main temple, also known as Mahaparinirvana Sthal. PM Modi will also lay the foundation of a medical college in Kushinagar.

After this, the Prime Minister is expected to launch a big scheme related to health infrastructure from Varanasi on October 25. Sources said the Prime Minister’s visits to Uttar Pradesh will continue even after October. Many more projects are ready for inauguration or foundation laying, some of these projects include Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway and several medical colleges.
