BJP MLA ‘Mao’ after seeing Aditya Thackeray, now Shiv Sena demands action against Nitesh Rana

Maharashtra News: Shiv Sena MLAs in the Maharashtra Assembly on Monday demanded that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Nitesh Rane be sacked for misconduct with state Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray. After that the proceedings of the Parliament were adjourned for some time.

After the question and answer session, Shiv Sena MLA Suhas Kande raised the issue. He alleged that last week, while Rane was sitting in the Vidhan Bhavan complex, he heard Thackeray walking inside the building and shouted ‘Mao’. Kande said all members agreed that indecent behavior against politicians should not be allowed, but Rane justified his behavior and said he would continue to do so.

Kande said, “Aditya Thackeray is a respected person and he did not pay attention to Nitesh Rana. We will not tolerate such insults from our leader. “They demanded that either Rane apologize in Parliament or she should be suspended. Kande was supported by Shiv Sena MLA Sunil Prabhu. Another member of the party Bhaskar Yadav demanded that Rane should be removed from the assembly permanently .

Due to the slogans and hustle and bustle of Shiv Sena members, the presiding officer of the house adjourned the assembly for 10 minutes. Notably, Nitesh Rane is the son of Union Minister Narayan Rane. After the House resumed its activities, Opposition Leader Devendra Farnabis said that Nitesh would be reprimanded for his behavior.

“However, it is not right to suspend a member for what has happened outside Parliament,” he said. Earlier, Fadnavis had said that Bhaskar Yadav used to raise his voice when Nationalist Congress Party leader Chhagan Bhujbal entered the house.

BJP’s Chandrakant Patil said he wondered why the incident outside the House was being discussed in the assembly. The presiding officer said a meeting with all party leaders would be held on Tuesday to prevent such incidents from happening again.

Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah have said this while targeting Akhilesh Yadav.
