Arriving at the Chief Minister’s residence, Tejasvi Surya and the rest of the staff planted saffron at the Chief Minister’s residence, not only that, the staff broke all the CCTV, sensors, boom barriers present there. Though Delhi Police tried to persuade Tejaswi to get up in front of the Chief Minister’s residence, he refused.
Police later took him into custody, although he was later released. Tejaswi Surya says the saffron color will remind Kejriwal of how Kashmiri scholars and Hindus have been treated in Kashmir and should apologize.
