Corona Vaccination: The center has issued this guideline on corona vaccine warning dosage

Corona vaccinationToday, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan held a video conference meeting with all the states and union territories to discuss the rollout of immunizations for 15-18 year olds and vulnerable sections, health workers, frontline workers and those over 60 years. – The Union Health Secretary has asked the States / UTs to give only ‘Kovacin’ in this population group and give extra dose of ‘Kovacin’ to all in the age group of 15-18 years. States The central government will share the schedule of ‘Covacin’ supply with all the states and union territories in the next few days.

Potential beneficiaries can either register with Co-Win from January 1, 2022, or walk-in registration when the vaccination starts on January 3.

Those born in 2007 or earlier will be eligible to be vaccinated under this category.

It is mandatory for 15-18 year olds to follow all corona protocols regarding vaccination. Beneficiaries will have to wait half an hour to be monitored for AEFI and will be eligible to receive a second dose after 28 days.

States have been informed that they have the option of designating specific Covid Vaccination Centers (CVCs) specifically for 15-18 year olds as dedicated CVCs, which may also appear on CoWin.

States have been asked to ensure separate rows and separate vaccination teams for ages 15-18.

States were advised to form two separate immunization groups at a single COVID immunization center (CVC), one for 15-18 year olds and the other for all adults to avoid any doubt about the proper vaccine administration.

No doctor’s certificate / prescription is required for administration of ComorBDT, doctors recommend that people over 60 be advised to consult their doctor before taking precoction dose.

The Union Health Secretary has clarified that these warning doses will be given to those beneficiaries whose second dose has passed 9 months (39 weeks).

The Ministry of Health has issued detailed guidelines in this regard.

He added that a reminder message would be sent to all those eligible for the CoWIN warning dose and the warning dose would be reflected in the digital vaccine certificates.

States / UTs were advised to vaccinate 15-18 year olds and ensure adaptation of immunization team members and dedicated session sites for vaccinating 15-18 year olds.
