Covid 19 Update Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 366 new cases of corona have been reported, the positive rate has reached 3.95 percent.

At the same time, the daily positive rate reached 3.95 percent. In the last 24 hours, 9265 tests have been done in the capital. At present, 685 patients are being treated at Home Isolation in Delhi. According to the latest figures, the total number of corona patients in Delhi has risen to 1867572. So far 26158 people have lost their lives in the capital in Corona.

On the other hand, after more schoolchildren were infected in the national capital on Friday, parents became concerned. Meanwhile, the Delhi government has asked the school administration to close certain departments or classes if necessary. Schools in Delhi are closed for four days on the weekend after Ambedkar Jayanti, Good Friday. A meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has been called on April 20 to review the situation in Kovid in the national capital. At least five students and teachers at a top private school in South Delhi’s Basant Kunj have been infected with the Korana virus last week, raising concerns among parents about the safety of their children. At the same time, the possibility of schools closing again has also increased. Following the outbreak of Kovid in schools in neighboring Noida and Ghaziabad, new cases of the infection have been reported in private schools in the national capital.

The Department of Education issued a new warning about covid in schools in the national capital on April 13, instructing them to close the entire campus or a certain part of the campus if any students or teachers are confirmed to be infected. The department further said that students and teachers should wear masks and maintain as much distance as possible. According to data shared by the city health department, 325 new cases of covid were reported in Delhi on Thursday, where the infection rate stood at 2.39 per cent.
