New Delhi. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen arrived at Agra Airport at around 8:20 pm on Saturday night. Speculations are being made for him to visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort on Sunday. According to the information, the Taj Mahal will be closed for tourists for two hours during this period. At the Agra airport, Uttar Pradesh Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma went to receive the Prime Minister of Denmark. On reaching Agra, a cultural program was also organized at the Air Force station to welcome the Prime Minister of Denmark.

The PM of Denmark had reached New Delhi yesterday i.e. on Saturday morning. He was received by the Minister of State for External Affairs (MoS) Meenakshi Lekhi at the Delhi airport. India and Denmark on Saturday signed four agreements and decided to enhance cooperation on Green Strategic Partnership. Addressing a joint press meeting with the Prime Minister of Denmark, PM Modi said that a year ago today, we took the historic decision to establish a green strategic partnership between India and Denmark in our virtual summit. It is a symbol of the far-reaching thinking of both our countries and respect for the environment.

Signing of these agreements

Let us tell you that in the four agreements signed between India and Denmark, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Geophysical Research Institute, Hyderabad, Aarhus University, Denmark and the Geological Survey of Greenland signed agreement on the mapping of groundwater resources and aquifers. Memorandum of understanding is included. The second agreement was signed between the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and the Danish Patent and Trademark Office on the Traditional Knowledge Digital Library Access Agreement.

Discussion on Indo-Pacific Air Afghanistan issue

The Danish PM also discussed the current situation in the Indo-Pacific and Afghanistan. He expressed his commitment to support the people of Afghanistan. The Danish Prime Minister said that she is very impressed by the goals set by India for household supply of water, renewable energy, to combat climate change. He also praised India’s vaccination drive.
