She is completely healthy. The jail superintendent also asked why Navneet Rana was kept in a separate barracks. He said that whenever a detainee came to the jail because of Corona, he was kept in a separate barracks for a few days. There are no other detainees in the separate barracks where Rana is being held. Besides, they are not being given any special benefits.

We tell you that treason charges were later added to the FIR filed by the Mumbai Police against the Rana couple. A Mumbai court on Sunday remanded the Rana couple in judicial custody for 14 days. Later on Sunday night, Amravati MP Navneet Rana was taken to Baikulla Women’s Jail.

An official said Ravi Rana, her husband and MLA of Badnera in Amravati, had earlier been shifted to Arthur Road Jail here but due to lack of space she was shifted to Taloja Jail in Navi Mumbai.

IPC Section 153A (creating animosity between different communities in the name of religion, language etc.), Section 34 (General Purpose) and Section-135 of the Mumbai Police Act (Prohibition Order enforced by the Police) were registered against the Rana couple. Section 124-A (sedition) was later added.
