Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has denied reports that he was upset with Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil. “I have full confidence in Home Minister Patil and he is doing well,” he said. Uddhav Thackeray’s statement was issued from the Chief Minister’s Office on Friday.
Earlier, Dilip Walse Patil also made a statement on the report. Dilip Walse Patil has said that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is not angry with him, as some reports have claimed. Speaking to reporters after meeting NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Patil said Thackeray was not angry with him over anything. On the contrary, Thackeray called him and congratulated him, he said.
During the just-concluded budget session of the state assembly, Devendra Fadnavis said the MVA was conspiring to frame some BJP leaders in false cases. Patil had announced a Criminal Investigation Department (CID) inquiry into the matter in the Assembly. It is learned that CM Thackeray expressed his dissatisfaction in the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday.
Patil said that the Chief Minister was not angry, but he called me and congratulated me. Wallace Patil also dismissed the BJP’s allegation that IPS officer Sanjay Pandey was appointed as Mumbai Police Commissioner to implicate BJP leaders. “I have made it clear that no one was hired to take revenge,” the minister said.
