Jahangirpuri Violence: According to DCP Northwest, another accused has been arrested in connection with the violence that erupted in Jahangirpuri, Delhi. He was earlier involved in a case of robbery and attempted murder at Jahangirpuri police station. So far 21 accused have been arrested and 2 minors have been arrested.
Three pistols and five swords were recovered from the accused. Four of the arrested are men of the same family. These are being said from the other side. The accused have been arrested under sections 147, 148, 149, 186, 353, 332, 323, 427, 436, 307, 120B IPC and 27 of the Arms Act.

Let it be known that on Saturday 16th April, violence suddenly broke out in the Jahangirpuri area of Delhi. In the procession on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, some people started throwing stones, then the environment deteriorated and violence started. Many policemen were injured in the violence.
So far 20 accused have been arrested in the case. Police also arrested Aslam, the man who shot at the protesters. Police also recovered a pistol from Aslam, from which he fired during the commotion.
