Army & Security Forces Success in 2021 at Jammu and Kashmir: According to official information from Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), the confidence of terrorists in small arms like pistol has increased. The fear of the army is so ingrained among the terrorists that they have started absconding after committing small arms incidents.
Srinagar: Rapid action by Indian security agencies is going on in Jammu and Kashmir. This year the army and security forces have got great success. According to the data from January 1 to September 30, so far 117 terrorists have been killed in the encounter. Amidst preparations like Operation Allout, 254 terrorists have also been arrested.
Terrorists’ trust in small arms increased
According to government figures, 105 AK-47 rifles, 126 pistols and 276 hand grenades have been recovered from the terrorists this year. On the other hand, getting 126 pistols from the terrorists clearly shows that the terrorists are now using more small arms like pistols for the attack.

What do the figures say?
According to the information received from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, in the last year 2020, a total of 163 pistols were recovered from the terrorists. Similarly, in the year 2019, 48 pistols and in 2018 a total of 27 pistols were seized from the terrorists. At the same time, so far this year, 38 such cases have come to the fore where terrorists escaped from the spot by attacking the security forces.

The elimination of terrorists continues
Meanwhile, a terrorist has been killed during an encounter in Kashmir’s Bandipora on Monday. Kashmir Police IG Vijay Kumar said on Monday that the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist who was killed in Bandipora was involved in the killing of a Sumo driver in Shahgund. According to a tweet issued in this regard, the slain terrorists were identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed Dar, who was associated with the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). At the same time, before this action, a terrorist was also killed in Anantnag.
