Punjab Ludhiana court blast: The mastermind of a bomb blast in Ludhiana, Punjab, has been arrested in Germany. The mastermind is Jaswinder Singh Multani, an active member of the Sikh for Justice (SFJ), which is planning to carry out bombings in Ludhiana and other parts of the country. Multani is a resident of Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

The agency suspects that Multani was involved in a conspiracy to carry out bombings in various Indian cities, including Ludhiana. Jaswinder Singh Multani is a resident of Mukeria in Hoshiarpur, Punjab and was born in 1966. That being said, Multani has two brothers and both run shops in Germany. Companies are also questioning whether Multani went to Pakistan.

Intelligence agency suspects Jaswinder Singh Multani is involved in plotting blasts in various Indian cities, including Delhi, Ludhiana and Mumbai. According to sources, Multani, a resident of Hoshiarpur in Punjab, was a close associate of SFJ founder Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and was involved in separatist activities.

The blast was caused by Gagandeep Singh-police

It may be mentioned that an explosion took place in a court in Ludhiana on December 24. One person was killed and five others were injured in the blast. An investigation into the blast has revealed that the deceased was identified as Gagandeep Singh. Police said Gagandeep wanted to blow up the court record room. He was a sacked constable of Punjab Police and was accused of drug smuggling. Gagan was a resident of Khanna in Punjab. In August 2019, he was arrested under the NDPS Act. He was fired after being convicted in court.
