During his 3-day Uttarakhand tour, Mohan Bhagwat gave his views on religion and patriotism. Bhagwat said that ‘we should teach our children to have respect for our religion and worship so that they do not go towards other ‘sects’.

Bhagwat said on conversion
At an event in Uttarakhand’s Haldwani with the families of national volunteers, Bhagwat said, ‘How does change happen? Why give up on traditional worship? How do the boys and girls of their house go to other religions? To get married, because of petty interests. These converts are wrong. But we do not prepare our children. We have to give its rites in our home. Respect for your religion, respect for worship, should prepare your children.

India will become Vishwaguru by change in social style
The Sarsanghchalak said that if we bring a change in our social style, then India can become a Vishwaguru. For this, he insisted that we should do our language, language, building, tour, bhajan and food according to our tradition. Today the whole world is following the traditions of India. In this regard, former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher (Margaret ThatcherReferring to ) he said that once he had said how to serve our parents, we have to learn about these traditions from India. From Vedic times to Mahabharata, our scriptures tell us how to follow Dharma.
Remembering Indian traditions
Mohan Bhagwat said that we should also worry about the poor section in the society and get out of the shackles of caste and creed. At the same time, Bhagwat also said, along with going to Paris and Singapore, visit the pilgrimage places of India like Kashi, Jallianwala Bagh and other pilgrimages. He said, ‘We should also keep pictures of freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Veer Savarkar, Babasaheb Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh.’ Talking on Indian food, Mohan Bhagwat said that sometimes it is okay to eat pizza etc. but we should have our traditional food at home.
