Bhubaneswar: A shocking incident has come to light in Koraput district of Odisha. A 13-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide here after his parents forbade him from playing games on his mobile. The police gave this information on Wednesday. Police said that the boy was studying in class VIII in a private school. In view of the Kovid-19 epidemic, he was attending an online class on a mobile phone.
His parents had found him playing a game on his mobile phone during an online class. Dhiren Patnaik, IIC of Koraput Town Police Station, said the child’s parents had stopped him from playing games on his mobile phone, which angered him.

On Tuesday, when his parents snatched the mobile phone from him, the angry boy locked himself in a room. Patnaik said that he was later found hanging from the noose of the sari with the help of a fan.
He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Patnaik said, ‘We have registered a case of unnatural death and have sent the body for postmortem. We are waiting for the report.
