New Delhi: Nowadays many people keep licensed weapons in their homes. In earlier times, there was a trend of having big two groove gun but in the present era small arms like pistol and revolver have replaced it. From police personnel to private guards of celebrities also use pistols or revolvers for self-defense. But today we tell you the difference between these two weapons that look almost the same.
By the way, both pistol and revolver are handguns which are easily accessible weapons. But there is a big difference between their system and size, which is very important to know. The method of putting bullets in the gun and their storage is also different, apart from this, the method of firing also separates them from each other.
First of all, let us tell you about your pistol because it is an advanced version of the handgun. It has magazines in which pills are stored. While firing, with the help of spring, the bullet comes out of the magazine and comes to the fire point. While firing bullets from the pistol, it does not take much time to load and can be fired one after the other continuously. Apart from this, the magazine is also closed through the lock system so that the pistol does not automatically fire due to negligence.
The barrel of the pistol is very short and its length does not exceed 10 inches. Usually it can fire up to 50 meters. If we talk about the weight, then the weight of the pistol is less than the revolver because it does not have a separate cylinder to store the bullet but a magazine is installed in the handle itself.
The revolver gun is considered to be a slightly older version of the pistol. As the name suggests, it is fitted with a revolving cylinder in which bullets have to be set. Before firing, the cylinder is rotated so that the bullet comes in front of the trigger point and fires as soon as it is hit. When the trigger is pressed, the hammer hits the bullet in the cylinder and the bullet is fired while crossing the barrel.
As soon as a bullet is fired from the revolver, the cylinder behind the barrel rotates itself and the next bullet hits the trigger point. In this, the cylinder itself acts as a magazine, which is not on the handle like a pistol but is installed in the middle.

Normally the revolver can fire 6 at a time but the magazine of the pistol can hold 18 bullets. The revolver is more difficult to operate than the pistol as its trigger moves a little tighter. If the bullet does not fire, then it is easier to take it out from the revolver than with a pistol.
