Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a new Bonus Dairy plant in Banaskantha, Gujarat on April 19. Built at a cost of around Rs 600 crore, the plant is coming as a great gift to the people of Banaskantha district. This is because a large number of farmers are now engaged in milk production in Banaskantha district and after the construction of this plant, the farmers are hoping that in the coming days they will be able to increase milk production by raising more animals. And will produce as much milk as possible. Will be produced, will be able to make good income by selling in dairy.

The women of Devpar village in Banaskantha district produce a lot of milk. The milk that was produced earlier was not eaten much and the milk was wasted. But since the formation of Bonus Dairy, all the milk produced by the women here has been bought. This is increasing their income and milk is not wasted.

Bonus Dairy has increased production capacity

As a result, a family used to have 10 cows, but now its number has more than doubled. One such woman farmer is Prabhavin who has started running her entire family from this milk production. With the income earned from selling milk, the overhead expenses of the world are now being easily met.

Not only women farmers but also male farmers have shifted their traditional employment to milk production as their main source of employment. The situation is such that 80 per cent farmers in some villages have now started milk production. Upon hearing the news of the inauguration of the new Bonus Dairy plant, the farmers rushed to see the new trees. This new plant has brought them new hope and new earning opportunities.

New plant built at a cost of Rs 600 crore

Although a dairy plant is already in operation in Banas, the amount of milk being produced in the area is now exceeding the capacity of that plant and hence the demand for another dairy plant in the area is also increasing. The word. The new dairy plant has been set up at a cost of around Rs 600-700 crore and this new dairy plant will produce more dairy products than the previous plant.

According to the information received at the moment, after the launch of two Bonus Dairy plants, it will become the largest dairy plant not only in the country but also in Asia. According to Bonus Dairy Chairman Shankar Chowdhury, Banaskantha district is one of the highest milk producing districts in the world and milk production will increase manifold after construction of this new plant.

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is appealing to farmers to focus on new dimensions of agriculture in addition to traditional farming, where dairy farming is also an important part. The people of Banaskantha district of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s own state have also shown the Prime Minister to amend that clause. Although the water level in Banaskantha district is very low, the farmers have made Banaskantha the largest milk producing district not only in the country but also in the world by focusing on milk production instead of cultivation.
