Devendra Farvavis Press Conference: The party is attacking Shiv Sena after attacking BJP leader Kirit Somaiya. Former Maharashtra chief minister and BJP leader Devendra Farnabis on Monday condemned the Shiv Sena at a press conference. Farnabis said BJP workers and leaders were attacked under police protection. We are not afraid of such attacks at all. Such incidents are happening not only in Mumbai, but in the whole of Maharashtra.
“Our role in the loudspeakers is clear that the decision of the Supreme Court should be followed,” Farnabis said. Today, the Maharashtra Home Minister invited us for an all-party meeting, but it is better to fight than talk to the government about what has been happening in Maharashtra for the last few days. CM Uddhav did not attend the meeting on serious issues of loudspeaker. It is clear that the government is not serious.
Fadnavis has also attacked the Uddhav Thackeray government over the Navneet Rana issue. He said even Navneet Rana was not being given water in jail. They are being treated like that because they are Dalits. Navneet Rana has lodged a complaint with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla through his lawyer.
In Maharashtra, there is a conflict between BJP and Shiv Sena. On Saturday, Navneet Rana, an independent MP from Amravati, announced the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa outside Matoshri, the home of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. After this, Shiv Sena workers got angry and started rioting outside the runner’s house and also broke the barricades. In the evening, he was arrested under various sections of the IPC. When BJP leader Kirit Somaiya reached the police station to meet him, Shiv Sainiks surrounded his car. At that moment, stones were hurled at his car. On Sunday, the court remanded Navneet Rana in judicial custody for 14 days. Politics in Maharashtra has heated up after the attack on the BJP leader.
