Kolkata: An embarrassing incident has come to light from Alipurduar in West Bengal. Where a 35-year-old tribal woman was forced to snatch her clothes and march across the village. In fact the woman returned to her husband’s house after 6 months. It was alleged that he was with his girlfriend at the time.

Shame on the woman, these people made a video of her on mobile and went viral on social media. As soon as the matter came to light, an atmosphere of tension was created in the area. Several hours after the incident, no search of the woman was found.
Police show promptness
As soon as the video was released, the police, on the instructions of Alipurduar SP Bholanath Pandey, rescued the woman from the clutches of the demons and admitted her to the hospital. Three accused in the case have been taken into custody and sent to jail. The search for the rest of the accused is on. Villagers said the woman was at loggerheads with her husband. Months ago she left with whom she had a relationship.

The ‘Kangaroo Court’ has given the verdict
Police said that as soon as the woman returned to her husband’s house, some villagers started questioning her about her whereabouts in the last six months and when she did not respond, the villagers decided to call an arbitration meeting (kangaroo court). In this case, the villagers, who had become lawyers and judges, beat him and dragged him to the place. At the same time, some people tore his clothes and in this situation wandered around the whole village.

In this regard, the ruling party TMC leader Dhiresh Roy said, ‘The people of the gram panchayat were not ignorant about this development. The meeting was held in great secrecy. Where this has been vandalized in the name of breaking the subject.
