Tejaswi Surya, the national president of the BJP Youth Front and an MP from Bangalore, is in the news these days. Tejaswi Surya has been accused of attacking the house of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Surya is considered as one of the brightest young faces of BJP. He is now 31 years old.
Tejaswi Surya won the hearts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and then BJP national president Amit Shah through a speech in 2019. Surya was later made an MP from Bangalore and later made the national president of the BJP Youth Front. Surya has been the President of Bharatiya Janata Youth Morcha since 26 September 2020.

The full name of Tejasvi Surya is Lakshya Suryanarayana Tejasvi Surya. He was born on 16 November 1990 in Bangalore. Surya’s mother’s name is Rama. His father LA Suryanarayana was the Joint Commissioner of Excise. At the age of 9, while attending St. Paul’s School, he sold one of his paintings and donated the money to a fund set up for the families of the Kargil martyrs.

In 2021, he was awarded the National Balshri Award for creative writing in English. After school, he studied law at the Institute of Legal Studies, Bangalore. Took LLB degree. He also mastered Carnatic music.
He played an active role in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections
Tejasvi Surya owns the NGO ‘Arise India’, which works in the field of school education. Surya has previously written for IndiaFacts. Tejaswi joined the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), a student wing of the BJP, since college. Then Bharatiya Janata joined the youth front. The party has made him general secretary of the youth front. Tejaswi played an active role in the BJP’s campaign during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and helped organize the BJP’s ‘Mangalore Cholo’ rally in 2017.

Tejaswi then led the Karnataka BJP’s digital communications team during the Karnataka Assembly elections. As a lawyer, Tejaswi assisted senior lawyers in defending corruption allegations against BS Yeddyurappa.

Tickets for the Lok Sabha elections have been issued from Bangalore South
During the election campaign, Tejaswi Surya’s speech won the hearts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and then BJP president Amit Shah.
